Full-time
Permanent employee

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You’ll join our technical team as the go-to person for everything related to office IT operations. From installing and configuring computers and software to setting up networks and supporting day-to-day technical needs across the office, you’ll keep our environment running smoothly. A special focus of this position is hands-on involvement with professional IT equipment and emerging XR technologies (VR, AR, and mixed reality systems).

This role is designed for someone at the start of an IT career: a recent graduate or a career changer with hands-on IT experience. You’ll get real responsibility from the beginning, and a clear path toward IT administration.

YOUR MISSION

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, peripherals, and related hardware
  • Set up and troubleshoot software applications, operating systems, and user accounts
  • Assist with network setup, cabling, Wi-Fi, and basic connectivity issues
  • Provide first-line technical support to office staff for hardware, software, and connectivity problems
  • Support the setup, maintenance, and testing of XR equipment (VR headsets, AR devices, tracking systems, and related software)
  • Help manage inventory of IT assets and keep technical documentation up to date
  • Participate in office moves, new workstation deployments, and technology upgrades
  • Collaborate with the broader technical team on continuous improvement of office IT systems

YOUR PROFILE

  • A reliable, organized way of working
  • A working knowledge of computer hardware, Windows, and macOS
  • Familiarity with common office software and user account basics
  • A willingness to learn networking fundamentals, structured troubleshooting, and XR system setup
  • Clear communication in German and English, and a service-minded approach to helping colleagues
  • The ability to handle routine tasks independently and to ask for guidance when something is new
  • Comfort with the physical side of the job: moving and mounting workstations, running cables, and occasional deployments outside core hours

Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to IT asset and device management, for example Microsoft Intune, Jira, Active Directory, or similar tools — through coursework, an internship, or your own projects
  • An interest in structured IT operations: asset inventories, ticketing workflows, and documentation standards
  • Personal experience building PCs, setting up home networks, or working with VR or AR devices
  • Coursework, certifications, or self-taught knowledge in IT support, networking, or immersive technology
  • Basic scripting, for example PowerShell or Bash
